Grad Bash: Do’s and Don’ts

As senior year comes to an end, one of the most exciting events the 12th graders have been looking forward to is finally almost here! On Friday, April 20th, the seniors will be heading to Universal and Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida for their Grad Bash! In order to make sure the trip is an enjoyable experience for everyone attending, these simple dress code guidelines and bus reminders MUST be followed.

Grad Bash Dress Code Guidelines:

What’s allowed for girls?

  • Dresses, skirts, capris
  • Casual pants which do include jeans
  • Comfortable shoes which include tennis shoes, dress sandals, boots, and flip-flops
  • Purses which sizes of  8.5” x 5.5” or under as well as drawstring bags
  • Hats

What’s allowed for guys?

  • Casual pants which include khakis and jeans
  • Shirt with sleeves (polos, dress shirts)
  • Comfortable shoes which include tennis shoes, boots, and flip-flops
  • Hats

What’s not allowed?

  • Clothing with holes or shredding
  • Clothing with inappropriate or offensive language as well as explicit graphics
  • Visible undergarments
  • Tank tops or undershirts
  • Clothing that shows too much skin for a school activity (bikini tops and bottoms, spaghetti straps)
  • Shorts of inappropriate length
  • Area codes displayed on clothing
  • Chains, spiked collars, or studded/spiked belts
  • High School team name or logos
  • Jerseys
  • Basketball shorts of any kind
  • College and professional team name or logo

Grad Bash Reminders for the Bus

  • The student parking lot will be opened when returning from the trip BUT Ferguson will not be responsible for the safety of your vehicle.
  • Make sure to bring ID and $2.00 (exact amount) for the bus driver’s tip.
  • Make sure to follow Grad Bash dress code do’s and don’ts
  • Entrance to Universal and Islands will start at 8:00 pm.
  • City Walk Pre-party is from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. If you do not eat, there are no refunds.
  • If you lose your wristband you will not be able to eat and you will lose entry into the City Walk Pre-party. You will have to remain at the entrance to Universal/Islands till 8:00 pm.
  • Food sold throughout the park is expensive so make sure you eat enough at the City Walk Pre-party.
  • You are allowed to purchase anything in Universal/Islands but you are responsible for the cost and items. (Food, drinks, and gift shop items)
  • Please be responsible and keep track of your items, they are NOT responsible for any lost items.
  • Please report back to buses (blue area) at 1:45 am.
