Another Exciting and Successful Fright Night
This year’s Fright Night was a huge success, drawing in students and families for a night packed with Halloween fun and community spirit. On October 29th, Ferguson hosted its annual Fright Night, which featured classic activities like trick-or-treating, Halloween-themed games, and creative club booths. Freshman Seleste Perez commented, “We did a lot of Halloween activities, and it was such a fun time.” Each school club set up its own decorated booth complete with spooky props, candy stations, and interactive activities. Kids dressed as ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and witches filled their trick-or-treat bags as they moved from booth to booth, proudly showing off their costumes.
The energy was high as kids eagerly lined up at each station, marveling at the creative displays each club had prepared for the event. “For FBLA, we did a ring toss, and it was incredibly successful,” shared ninth-grader David Moreno, highlighting his club’s booth. Beyond the candy, Fright Night offered an opportunity for clubs to introduce themselves to younger students and encourage future participation. The festive, relaxed setting allowed club members to share their activities and interests with the school community.
“On behalf of Research Club, we made slime,” said ninth-grader Raschelle Rodriguez, adding a hands-on activity that engaged kids of all ages. Parents appreciated the event’s mix of entertainment and information, seeing it as a chance for their children to explore the school’s extracurricular offerings in a fun, memorable way.
By the night’s end, the school was filled with smiles and laughter, as kids left with bags full of candy and a stronger sense of school spirit. Fright Night was a resounding success, celebrating Halloween while building connections in the school community.
