A Magical Night in Pandora Approaches

Juniors and Seniors, it’s almost time. May 18th marks an important milestone for both the Senior and Junior experiences: Prom. This year’s prom will take place at the JW Marriott in Biscayne Bay with a new creative theme.

The theme for this year is “A Night in Pandora,” with Pandora paying homage to the fictional alien world from the blockbuster film Avatar. Students are encouraged to dress according to the theme and showcase their otherworldly, Pandora-inspired attire.

Hallways have been buzzing with excitement as the night approaches quickly. Many have been anticipating prom since their Freshman year, as the event is among the most popular activities of their high school career.

“I’ve been waiting for prom since I was a little girl!” Brianna Canales, a senior, expresses. “I can’t wait to show off my gorgeous dress and dance the night away with my friends!”

Attendees are looking forward to seeing how innovative students’ outfits can get with this fascinating theme. Some students are even making statements by arriving at prom in style. Many prom attendees like to rent limos or other exotic vehicles to have fun with friends and show off how extravagant they can be.

“I booked a limo for me and my friends,” Felix Cruz, a junior, states. “I can’t wait to live the lavish lifestyle just for one magical night.”

All in all, many can predict that this year’s prom will be a hit. This year’s imaginative theme will liven the whole prom experience and allow seniors and juniors to have the time of their lives.
