Boys Basketball on Three Game Winning Streak
Our Falcons are once again victorious. They were able to withstand Palmetto’s valiant efforts and came out with the win 78-77. Along with their huge blow-out win against the Sunset Knights, 87-41 and 67-41 against LaSalle. The Falcons had a highly successful week on the court!
Coach Pace shared his thoughts on the Palmetto game, “We played hard and very well. We followed the game plan amazingly and played through adversity. There are always ways to improve, but this was overall an impressive performance from the Falcons. Jordan Gonzalez and Brandon Vasquez stood out to me, and Alex Rauseo showed up big late in the game.”
“The game was neck and neck, but we ended up pulling through for the win. I had 32 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals. Some mistakes were made towards the end, but we overcame them like always and learned from them,” senior Shooting Guard, Jordan Gonzalez shares.
Tuesday night, the Falcons dominated against Sunset since the very 1st quarter. Junior Guard, Anthony Capote left the crowd in shock with his amazing dunk. “We played good against Sunset, the energy was definitely there that night, and it was great.”
Finally, Friday night the Boys were still looking to continue their winning streak against LaSalle. In a 67-41 victory the Falcons continue their three-game winning streak! Come out to support our Falcons in upcoming games.
