Falcons Declare Sweeping Victory Over Gladiators
On February 3rd, The Falcons Boys Baseball team set the season off strong with a sweeping win over the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators. Despite facing a strong play from the Gladiators, the Falcons worked diligently and secured the lead, concluding the game with a score of 4-1.
“During preparation, we planned to work in unison and implement what techniques we had learned in practice and apply them to this game.” Out Fielder Jose Rijo, junior, says.
Though the boys found themselves in unknown territory, they were fueled with determination and confidence in their chemistry. The team used their skills and their practice with each other to secure their path to victory. With this zealous win, the Falcons hope to continue adding games to their streak.
“I’m very confident in our team this year. I don’t think Hialeah Gardens is an issue for us in the future.” Davin Vigoa, junior In Fielder, says.
Despite having high confidence in their performance, the boys are still working hard on and off the field to improve their skills to ensure that they dominate the rest of the season. The team relies heavily on audience support to fuel their enthusiasm, so make sure to show your Falcon pride by attending upcoming games.
Following a great season opener, the Falcons Boys Baseball Team is looking to face the Miami Beach Hi-Tides on Monday, February 10th at Miami Beach. We hope to see you there.
