Falcons in Thrilling Showdown with Westwood
The Falcons’ Boys Basketball Team took on Westwood at The Cage in a super-intense and close game. Both teams were pushing all night for the win, but Ferguson came up just short with a 54–49 final score.
“The last game was very intense and energetic, and both ends of the court did their best, but we need to evaluate what didn’t go well and do better in practice,” said senior Jose Bueno.
The game stayed close from the beginning with a lot of back-and-forth scoring. The Falcons kept the energy high and worked together on both offense and defense to try and pull ahead. Even when Westwood got a small lead, the team kept fighting, and the crowd kept spirits high the entire time.
Even though the Falcons didn’t get the win this time, they showed a lot of heart and are ready to keep improving as the season goes on.
Their next game is scheduled for December 9th at The Cage, where they will face HEA. Make sure to come out and support the boys as they try to bounce back with a win.
