Highly Anticipated Coachella Festival 2025

Coachella 2025 lit up the California desert with a lively combination of pop icons, punk heroes, and rising stars, further cementing its status as one of the premier music festivals. Two weekends at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, the festival featured headliners Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott, all of whom delivered memorable performances.

Lady Gaga returned to the Coachella stage, launching her set with “Bloody Mary” and gliding into her new single “Abracadabra.” Although there was a technical malfunction with the microphone, she flipped mid-note to a handheld mic with professionalism and live vocal ability. The set included artistic nods to her earlier works, such as a “Bad Romance”-themed game of chess and references to her “Paparazzi” video.

Green Day topped their first Coachella performance, playing an invigorating set that covered their huge catalog. Post Malone topped the last day of the festival with a show that covered his career, and Travis Scott hosted a unique presentation titled “Travis Scott Designs the Desert,” which provided fans with an immersive experience.

The concert also included solo performances by BLACKPINK members Lisa and Jennie for the first time. Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, Kraftwerk, FKA twigs, and ENHYPEN were other great performers.

Aside from music, Goldenvoice Surf Club introduced visitors to an exclusive pool party vibe via live DJ performances and performances by artists like Rico Nasty, Sara Landry, and Sammy Virji. Competitions involving professionals like Bruce Irons and Jacob “Zeke” Szekely were also covered, adding an element of shock to the experience of Coachella.

While problems like blistering heat and hours-long lines did intersect with Coachella 2025, the lineup’s multicultural diversity and performances meant that it would remain culturally prominent and popular as ever.
