Junior Parent Night

Junior Parent Night was a success! Taking place on September 26th, it was mandatory for both juniors and at least one parent or guardian to attend. Those who did will now have a better understanding of what junior year entails. Parents and students received information regarding expectations, upcoming field trips, and fundraising during both sessions.

Juniors, expectations are changing, and new rules for attendance and tardies will be addressed at the assembly. Most importantly, academic progress will be assessed, and attendees received information regarding their GPAs.

Ms. Fernandez, the sponsor of Junior Parent Night, was confident in the event’s success. She told students not to fret, “The PowerPoint will address everything that they need to know.” She believes that this is one of the most important nights for Juniors, as it will serve as their yearly assembly. Ms. Rae-Schulze, Ferguson’s Activities Director, also discussed details about the Junior Ring Night, which will take place on October 3rd. That event will address prices, pre-ordering opportunities, and everything else that those who are interested in a class ring must know. Besides this and academic information, parents and students also received an overview of upcoming Junior field trips and the requirements for participation!
