Girls Varsity Soccer has a Strong Start
The Ferguson Girls Varsity Soccer team started their season December 7th with their first game against Barbara Goleman Senior High. Ferguson won with an 8-0 victory. Ever since their first game of the season, they have been keeping a steady record of 2-3 so far. They lost 0-3 to South Dade once as well as twice to Dr. Krop with scores of 0-5 and 0-2. However, they were able to win 4-2 against Coral Gables afterward. Also, due to the pandemic, there have been no fans allowed at these games to ensure the safety of the players and the crowd. The team played against Miami Beach and had a grand win of 3-0. They also played against Mourning on January 21st and scored 6-1. Ferguson played against Southwest and scored 8-0. The team was defeated January 25th against Terra, 0-2. The team played their last game of the season on Wednesday, February 3rd, and lost to South Dade with a close score of 0-1. We are sure the team will have a better season next year and put their best foot forward.
