Lady Falcons Show Great Determination

The Lady Falcons flag football team demonstrated their skill and determination by securing a victory against Coral Gables, which earned them a spot in the playoffs. They showcased their prowess and grit during the game, leaving the spectators in awe.

“The game overall was good, but I think we can improve our team’s chemistry. I feel that some people can be closer and that would help the team out a lot. That’s the main thing we need to fix, team chemistry,” said 10th grader, Tori Holder.

Right from the beginning, it was clear that the Lady Falcons were determined to win the game. Their offense executed precise plays, while their defense stood firm and prevented Coral Gables from gaining any momentum. Every touchdown and interception demonstrated the team’s cohesiveness and their desire to succeed.

“It was a tight game, but we worked together as a team to manage to get through it. We could have done better handling offense; our defense was strapped,” states sophmore, Roselyn Rivera. As the referee blew the final whistle, the Lady Falcons rejoiced in their hard-fought 7-6 victory, fully aware that their journey was far from over. They knew that Palmetto would present a significant challenge, but the Lady Falcons were prepared to meet the occasion and give their all on the field.

The Lady Falcons are not just focused on winning games, but they value teamwork, perseverance and the constant pursuit of excellence. As they enter the playoffs, they have the hopes and dreams of their supporters on their shoulders, ready to make their mark in Ferguson’s flag football history.
