AP/IB Exams Coming Soon
As mostly all of the student population may know, testing season has arrived. Anticipation, worry, and anxiety run through the halls, especially for many of the AP/IB students, as they will be taking their exams very soon in the month of May.
“Personally I feel most anxious about the AP World History exam coming up in May because I really hope that I’ll do well but studying can be tiring, especially for a major exam like this.” Sofia Pinero, an IB Freshman student said, “I think I’ll do well on future exams but I’m still stressed about all the information that needs to be learned prior.”
Sofia also gives credit to her teacher, who has prepared her well to take the exam with all the intense work assigned throughout the year. “I’m relatively confident that I’ll pass my exams because I’m really good with history and the number of hours I’ve spent studying will hopefully pay off,” Sofia said.
“I’m most anxious about the AP Literature exam because I feel like it’s very short time for so many essays,” AP Sophomore student, Brittany Orjuela said, “I’m nervous on how I am going to do, but I feel like I’ve prepared all school year for this.”
For Brittany’s AP Psychology exam, she also gives credit to her teacher, more specifically Ms. Vigoa, for being an excellent teacher and making her well prepared. “I’m confident that I will pass the Psychology exam because I have had plenty exposure to the subject,” Brittany said.
The exams will be taking place in the school gym throughout the month of May. The school’s goal is to have the majority of the students pass. From many of the students interviewed, it seems that the students are well prepared and confident they will pass.
