Falcon Bowling Team Celebrates Nostalgic Senior Night

This Monday, The Falcon Bowling team celebrated their senior night at Bird Bowl. The night was both bittersweet and memorable for the team, adding another win to their roster and looking back at their accomplishments throughout their high school career.

“All I could say is that it was nothing short of amazing,” Isaiah Lacayo, senior bowler, explains. “I spent these past four years seeing every senior before me go through the same tradition, so to now get the same treatment was very special.”

Coach Del Rosario delegated time to make the event extra special for the seniors. After the game concluded, the team walked with their parents and received a rose in honor of their commitments. The team was also presented with old pictures of their time together.

In addition, Del Rosario prepared “College Prep” baskets composed of snacks to prepare the seniors on their journey to college. The night concluded with photos between the team, coaches, and parents, leaving the atmosphere filled with euphoria.

“I look back at what I’ve built for myself and for the team, and though I am leaving soon, I have complete faith in the underclassmen.” Lacayo expresses. “I have peace knowing the team is left in good hands.”

The celebration goes hand-in-hand with the team’s recent accomplishment at the Youth Fair Tournament. On September 28th, the bowling team competed and kept up their undefeated streak.

“Our team had great chemistry, and worked amazingly together to continue our undefeated streak.” Key player, Achilleus Perdomo, senior, states.

The Falcons bowling team is one of the consistently successful teams in Ferguson and they have no plans of slowing down. Congratulations to The Falcons for their accomplishments.
