Falcons Bounce Back With Bulldog Defeat

After an opening defeat to the Coral Gables Cavaliers, the Falcons bounced back with back-to-back victories against their rivals, the Varela Vipers, and the Westland Wildcats. However, their momentum was short-lived, as they faced a disappointing 21-0 loss to Southwest in week four.

Despite this setback, the Falcons were determined not to let their spirits dwindle as they prepared for their biggest rivals, the Braddock Bulldogs. With confidence shaken but determination strong, the team kept their sights firmly set ahead.

The Falcons started the game with a remarkable defensive play, scoring two touchdowns that set the tone for the match.

“Our offense started off slow due to a lack of discipline, but the defense really stepped up with those two touchdowns,” said Senior Quarterback Alex Lamella. “We ended up scoring five touchdowns in the second half. We have some things we need to clean up, but overall, it was a great game on both sides of the ball.”

The Falcons claimed victory with a 42-14 statement win against the Bulldogs, and they hope to build on this success to establish consistency moving forward. They will clash with the Miami High Hi-Tides on Friday, October 4th, at Flamingo Park’s Memorial Field. Come out and support the Falcons.
