Falcons secure Victory Against Outmatched Reagan

The Falcons Girls Volleyball Team kept their game up, going against the Reagan Bison. On September 8th, in the cage, Ferguson dominated the game, earning a conclusive 3-0 victory by running stacks.

“Feeling blessed to be back on the court after an injury,” said senior right side player Rachelle Rodriguez. “My hunger for the ball resulted in a couple of good plays.”

From the first quarter, the Flacons showed the Bisons how determined they were to win, which led to an easy game. This tempo was too challenging for the Bisons to overcome. With contributions from every player, it made it hard for the Bisons to let their guards down and relax throughout the entire game. Fergusons stayed defensive till the end of the game.

“Good team or bad team, play as if it were game point,” said sophomore libero player Katie Aguirre. “We did have our difficulties in our energy, but overall, we did have a great game.”

The Falcons continue to prove why they are such an effective team, demonstrating their commitment to the game and the hard work they put in. They aim to extend their winning streak this Tuesday, September 16th, at the batting cage against Coral Gables. Come out and support the Falcons as they continue their impressive run. After all, sports are important here at Ferguson, and you should come and support your peers. This victory is more than a championship; it shows dedication and sacrifice.
