Falcons Show Resilience After Distasteful Loss Against Barracudas
On October 2nd, the Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team played against Coral Reef. Despite their strong resolve and dedication to win, the girls ultimately lost to their rivals.
“Our team wasn’t performing at its best and lacked chemistry. Coral Reef had a strong hitter, which contributed to their victory,” says Senior Setter, Aleja Gonzalez.
Following their missteps, the Falcons have been working hard to improve their chemistry and performance through more practice. They aim to overcome these issues and get back on track. The Falcons are preparing to showcase their skills against Southwest, aiming to address their past issues and secure a victory.
“While this game may be challenging, we’ve beaten Southwest before. We plan to approach the game the same way we did when we defeated them the first time,” Gonzalez states. “I believe we can win with good team chemistry and effort. Our team needs to communicate effectively and maintain our momentum throughout the game.”
The Falcons hope to make a strong statement against Southwest and get their season back on track. Show your support for The Falcons on Monday, October 16th, 2024, at the cage against Southwest.
