Falcons Suffer Loss Against Coral Gables Cavaliers

On Thursday, The Boys Football Team faced off against the Coral Gables Cavaliers. Although the Falcons kept a tight score for most of the game, the team ultimately fell short with a final score of 25-6.

“Even though we lost it was a good game. There are many things we need to improve on, but that’s part of the grind.” Junior Linebacker Andrew Chiu-Hung. “We are fixing our mistakes and looking forward to next week.”

With a rollout touchdown pass from senior quarterback Alex Lamella to junior wide receiver Brandon Tagle, the Falcons left an exceptional impact despite their loss.

“As a team, we just fell short and did not have the right mindset during the game.” Tagle said. “We definitely have a lot to fix but were looking forward to Varela next week.”

Even with the slow start to the season the Falcons are hoping to have a statement game on their homefield against the Vipers on Friday, August 30th. Go out and support the team!
