Ferguson Falcons Battle Against Coral Reef

The Ferguson Falcons gave it their all Friday night in a tough matchup against the Coral Reef Barracudas. Although the final score ended 28-0, the Falcons played with heart, staying focused and determined through every quarter. Their effort and energy on the field showed just how much pride they take in representing Ferguson.

From the start, the Falcons’ defense worked hard to hold off Coral Reef’s offense, making several strong stops and keeping the pressure on. Even when the game didn’t go their way, the team’s spirit never faded. “Honestly, the outcome wasn’t what we expected. Apart from that, we gave it everything we could give into that game.” Said junior King Hughes.

Ferguson’s sideline energy stayed high all night, with teammates cheering one another on and pushing through until the last play. Several younger players stepped up, gaining valuable experience under the lights that will help the team grow stronger in the future. Now sitting at 4-3, the Falcons remain focused on improving and finishing the season strong.

The loss doesn’t define them—it fuels their motivation to keep working harder and come back better. “Overall, we should have had the same energy throughout the game, and as our last game, I wouldn’t want to work with another team,” said senior Brandon Tagle

Friday’s game was a reminder that success isn’t just about the scoreboard—it’s about effort, teamwork, and heart. The Ferguson Falcons continue to prove that, win or lose, they play every game with pride and never stop fighting. Friday night’s matchup proved that success isn’t just measured by points, but by heart.
