Ferguson Students Dive into Club Rush 2025

Ferguson’s Club Rush had something for everyone, whether you’re interested, creative, or simply looking for something new to try. On Monday, September 16, dozens of clubs showcased their activities, ranging from robotics, art, and service groups, filling the gym with tables, posters, and music.

As they learned more about each club, students moved between booths, collecting candy, talking to members, and picking up flyers. The free treats attracted many students, keeping the environment lively.

Daira Perez, a sophomore, said, “I came in knowing only a few clubs and left with much more options than I expected.” Montserrat de la Osa, who visited a tech and creative club, added, “My friends took me to tables I would never have gone to on my own.”

Yunior Karla Gonzales shared, “Club rush is beneficial for students who need help in finding community service opportunities. Joining clubs helps students find leadership roles, learn responsibilities, and connect with other students.”

Club Board Member for Women of Tomorrow Angelina Urra said, “Club rush gives students a chance to explore the clubs the school has to offer.” Joining a high school club can be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make. It’s not just about trying new things; it’s also a great way to meet people, make friends, and discover your passions.

Clubs and Honor Societies can also help you build leadership skills, earn community service hours, and boost your college applications. Whatever your hobbies are, John A. Ferguson definitely has a club for you, as this year’s Club Rush demonstrated.
