The Annual Apple Event With New Technology
“Design is not what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” Those are the words of Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple. On September 9th, this quote opened Apple’s livestream event, where new innovations were revealed.
Kate Bergeron, Vice President of Hardware Engineering, introduced the AirPods Pro 3. They feature built-in air filters for richer sound, live translation through Apple Intelligence, and customizable ear tips for better fit. Noise cancellation is four times stronger than before, with up to 10 hours of battery life. New sensors can track heart rate, calorie burn, and over 50 workouts. The AirPods Pro 3 launched September 19th at $249.
Next, Apple revealed new watches. The Apple Watch Series 11 can detect hypertension and analyze sleep, even identifying sleep apnea. The SE 3 adds temperature detection, music playback through speakers, and shares the same health features as Series 11. The Ultra 3 offers Apple’s largest, most advanced display, with 5G and satellite tracking for constant connectivity. Battery life ranges from 24 hours (Series 11, SE 3) to 42 hours (Ultra 3). Prices are $249 for SE 3, $299 for Series 11, and $699 for Ultra 3, all available September 19th
Finally, Tim Cook presented the iPhone 17 lineup. The iPhone 17 has a 120Hz refresh rate, instant translation for calls and texts, ceramic shield durability, A19 chip, and a new ultrawide fusion camera. It starts at $899 with 256GB storage.
The iPhone Air, at $999, is Apple’s thinnest phone at 5.8mm, yet the most durable with nanocrystals, titanium, and ceramic shield. It offers dual capture, accessories like a magnetic charger and strap, and all-day battery.
The iPhone 17 Pro, starting at $1099, features an aluminum unibody, vapor chamber cooling, and three fusion cameras with 48MP sensors and advanced zoom. It also introduces genlock support for better synchronization. The entire event was filmed on this model.
Apple’s September 19th releases—AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Series 11, SE 3, Ultra 3, and the iPhone 17 series—set a new standard for personal technology, from fitness and health tracking to durability and performance.
