McDonald’s Recently Developed Menu Items
McDonald’s is a fast-food place that has become quite expensive in recent years. However, on September 18th, for National Cheeseburger Day, they offered double cheeseburgers for only $0.50, which was a fantastic deal and a great success.
Shockingly better, there is a 2-for $5 deal that includes either the McDouble or McChicken with an additional serving of small fries, 4-piece chicken nuggets, and a small fountain drink.
Additionally, there is a Monopoly collaboration with McDonalds that has brought on some interesting menu items. In the McDonald’s app, you can collect a code from one of the promotional items, and in return, you play a game to claim your prize, which can either be money, credit, devices such as consoles or headphones, and of course, food. Some of the food items on this special event menu are the Chicken Big Mac, Mozzarella Dippers, Philly Cheese Stack, and the McPlant, which are all very exciting new additions.
The Chicken Big Mac is just the original Big Mac, but now the patties are replaced with chicken patties. The Mozzarella Dippers have the same idea as mozzarella sticks, but include a unique complementary salsa dip. The Philly cheese stack exclusively contains pickles, onions, cheese sauce, and an Irish patty. Lastly, the McPlant is a vegan version of a Quarter Pounder because the patty is made with Beyond Meat, which is a company known for its vegan poultry.
Earlier this year, the Grandma McFlurry was introduced to the McDonald’s menu, which is said to have been inspired by grandmas because of the way the ingredients resemble the ones a traditional grandma would keep in her kitchen. It is a great way to honor the amazing grandmother figures in the world.
McDonald’s always manages to stay current in the fast food economy. Seeing menu changes frequently keeps customers satisfied and alert to the new products. These new foods have brought a wave of customers who are eager to try them.
