Seniors Soar to Graduation with Senior Flight Plan

As the class of 2025 prepares to take their final steps toward graduation, Ferguson has hosted its annual Senior Flight Plan, the only opportunity for seniors to purchase their cap and gown packages. This essential event was scheduled for Tuesday, January 28, and Wednesday, January 29, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the cafeteria and auditorium.

To ensure an organized process, the event was divided alphabetically. Students with last names beginning with A are scheduled for Tuesday, January 28, while those with last names M-Z attend Wednesday, January 29.

One critical requirement for participation was the mandatory presence of a parent or guardian alongside the student. Without a parent or guardian present, students would not be able to purchase their cap and gown package. This policy is in place to ensure that all necessary information is reviewed and acknowledged before making the purchase, as graduation is an important milestone that requires careful preparation. Missing the event could result in additional fees or complications in obtaining their graduation attire later on. It was advised that students and their parents arrive promptly to avoid long lines and ensure they have enough time to complete their purchase.

In addition to cap and gown sales, the Senior Flight Plan included opportunities for students to receive important information regarding other graduation-related matters such as senior activities, diploma distribution, and potential obligations that need to be fulfilled before graduation day. Staff members and school officials will be available to assist students and parents with any questions they may have.

Another crucial aspect of the Senior Flight Plan was ensuring that students were cleared for graduation. During the event, students can check if they have any outstanding fees or obligations that need to be settled before they can graduate. This included library fines, textbooks that needed to be returned, or any other financial dues that must be resolved. Addressing these issues early can prevent last-minute stress and ensure a smooth transition to graduation.

With graduation just around the corner, excitement was in the air! Senior Flight Plan is more than just a necessary step, it’s a celebration of how far you’ve come and a glimpse into the bright future ahead. The Class of 2025 is almost ready to soar, let’s make these final months unforgettable!
