‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Stuns Theaters
The Devil Wears Prada 2 officially released on May 1, 2026. The movie is directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, and reunites its first stars Meryl Streep Anne Hathway, along with Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.
Throughout the movie, Miranda Priestly struggles to keep her fashion empire relevant, and a series of events lead to a showdown against Emily Charlton, an executive at a luxury fashion conglomerate. Andy Sachs, who returns to New York as an award winning investigative reporter, is also very successful like Emily.
A development that differs from the original movie is Miranda’s healthy relationship. Nigel is a character in the movie ends up getting his redemption and was able to apologize to Miranda for his past betrayals. One last interesting fact was when how at the end Andy and Emily reunited at friends.
The sound track features artists many will recognize—“Runaway” by Lady Gaga and Doechii, for example.

Freshmen Kate Guevara says, “I’m planning to see it this weekend and I can’t wait.”
