Thrilling Comeback by Boys’ Baseball Team

The Falcons baseball team has been performing well lately. Although they had a slow start to their season, they have picked up the pace lately and won their last two games. On March 5th, they secured their first win of the season by beating the Coral Gables Cavaliers 12-5. The following day, March 6th, the Falcons defeated the JC Bermudez Doral Thunder by a score of 11-2.

“We started off slow no doubt, but recently we have been more cohesive, and we have started to play as a team and that has been a major key to our recent success. As far as things to improve on, we need to focus on hitting, myself included have not been hitting as well as I should be. We have improved recently, and we look to continue to get better,” shares Junior Catcher, Brandon Blanco. The Falcons look to improve their weaknesses such as their team chemistry and hitting. They are quickly improving these little mistakes made, they should be back on track in no time.

Junior Alejandro Suarez added, “I feel optimistic about the rest of our season. I can say for sure that we did not have the best start, but we have been improving. We have started to play as a team and that is the main thing that has gotten us these last two wins. We need to work on staying consistent and working on our hitting, but we are going to keep working and getting better.” The team has noticed an improvement in their performance and aims to maintain their winning streak.

The Falcons are getting better every day and look to take down the Coral Reef Barracudas on March 12th on their home field. After winning two games in a row, they are now more motivated than ever to play at their best and support each other as an amazing team.
