Welcome Back, Falcons!
With the summer sun fading into fall, students and faculty return from their vacations with refreshed minds, gearing up for the 2024-2025 academic year. On August 15th, John A. Ferguson’s halls filled with life after three months, welcoming Falcons–both new and returning–with open wings.
A variety of emotions coursed through the atmosphere on the warm morning. Freshman have officially turned the page to a new chapter, preparing to embark on their four-year journey to seniority. Though it may seem distant, seniors can attest that the years slip by quickly. The graduating class is clouded with a bittersweet feeling for what lies ahead, taking one step closer to adulthood.
Although there is pressure to surpass the previous year of success and productivity, The Talon remains committed to being the primary source of reliable news for Ferguson. With a blend of both talented rookie and veteran staff, we are more than eager to cover the stories that impact our school. From spotlighting school events to covering the latest trends in entertainment, there’s something for everyone on The Talon.
The Talon staff extends their wishes for a successful year to students and faculty as we begin the new year.
