Girls Volleyball Shines Bright on Unforgettable Senior Night

Fresh off a commanding sweep over Southwest, the Ferguson Falcons took to the court Friday night determined to keep their momentum going—and to make Senior Night one to remember. Facing a tough rematch against Archbishop Carroll, the Falcons battled fiercely through five thrilling sets, showcasing their resilience, teamwork, and unshakable spirit.

From the first serve, the energy in the gym was electric. With friends, family, and classmates cheering loudly, the Falcons put everything on the line. After dropping the first two sets, Ferguson stormed back with confidence and focus, taking the next two in dominating fashion. Every serve, dig, and spike reflected the passion and pride of a team that refused to quit.

“The ceremony was so memorable with all the friends and family there to support,” said senior Emma Aleman. More than just a match, the night was a celebration of dedication and leadership. The seniors, who have poured years of hard work into the program, were honored for their contributions and impact both on and off the court.

The fifth and final set was a nail-biter, as Ferguson fought for every point, pushing Archbishop Carroll to the limit. Though the Bulldogs managed to escape with a narrow 3-2 win, the Falcons’ effort was nothing short of inspiring. “Senior night was so special to me, and I loved seeing all my family there to watch and support me on my big night,” said senior Mianah Titus.

Despite the tough loss, the Falcons left the gym with their heads held high, proud of their fight and united as a family. Senior Night proved that Ferguson’s heart and determination will always shine, win or lose.
