Varela v. Varsity Football Game

Following a strong start to the season, the Ferguson Falcons Football Team maintained their win streak after going against the Varela Vipers. On September 4th, Ferguson took control of the game right from the opening kickoff, securing a clear 34- win over Varela.

“We came into the game focused and ready to compete,” said wide receiver Logan Romero. “Everyone did their
job and played for each other. We knew if we stayed together and kept our energy up, we could come out with the win.”

From the first quarter, the Falcons set the pace, taking an early lead and keeping Varela off the scoreboard for the entire game. Ferguson’s defense held strong for a shutout, while the offense kept adding points, earning the Falcons their second win of the season. The Falcons continue to show their strength early in the season, and their performance againstVarela highlights the team’s preparation, discipline, and teamwork. With another game coming up soon, Ferguson will try to build on their momentum when they play Sunset Senior High on Thursday, September 10th.
