Bowling Team Strikes Again

It’s time to roll the ball again! Bowling is back in session at John A. Ferguson Senior
High. After a successful 2025-2026 season, the John A Ferguson bowling team earned the
title as “One of the consistently successful teams at Ferguson.” This year, however,
they are swinging for more wins.

Beginning with the game set at Bird Bowl, the Ferguson team warmed up at 2:45
before battling against Gulliver. The game took place on Thursday, August 27 th , and
ended in remarkable results for Ferguson. After the neutral non-conference game
concluded, the Ferguson Varsity Bowling Team ended up winning their fight against
Gulliver with a 7-0 score. This demonstrated the strong teamwork the boys and girls had
in their fight, with some even having high games and even a high game high series.

The players who had a high game were Lexander Perdomo, Damien Maldonado,
and Evin Lau. Finally, the anticipated High Game High Series title went to Angelie Brito,
who earned her title and with her team lead Ferguson to victory.

Up next, the Ferguson bowling team went against Coral Gables. After warming
up at 2:45 at Bird Bowl, The Ferguson bowlers slid into the game, keeping their
unbeatable streak and winning 7-0. The dedicated and determined teamwork once
again proved their strength in numbers, with the formidable Angelie Brito taking the title
as the high game high series once again with a high game of 258 and high series of
666.

As if on a perfect streak, after playing against Coral Park, Ferguson kept their 7-0
win streak going. This time, Angelie Brito had a high game of 201 and a high series of
539, securing her streak as the high game high series while sharing the game victory
with her fellow teammates.

“The girls and boys have been very competitive this season and I’m excited to
see where this takes us” Coach Del Rosario commented on her team’s wins.
Evidently, the boys’ and girls’ bowling teams are on a very impressive run this
season, and we as Falcons cannot wait to see where they are heading and how much
pins and wins they will strike this season.
