Anticipating The Star-Studded Junior Ring Ceremony
The upcoming junior ring ceremony holds great significance at our high school, symbolizing the junior class’s transition into the esteemed ranks of upperclassmen. Our Junior Falcons have eagerly awaited this moment, anticipating the presentation of their junior rings from Heriff Jones. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 20, 2024, marking a milestone in their high school journey.
Fellow Junior, Ashley Urroz shares, “I’m really excited to take pictures with my friends and family and finally having an official recognition of my junior year. I’m glad I can share this special moment of me moving forward in life with my friends and family, especially my mom who has worked so hard for me to have all these opportunities in life and my grandparents who have supported me through my whole life.”
Along with the ceremony’s formalities and traditions, there is also a sense of friendship and unity among the junior class. The ceremony serves as a reminder that they are part of something larger than themselves – a proud tradition of excellence and achievement that extends far beyond their time in high school. Our junior falcons have their families and friends with them supporting them from the audience. The rings themselves are more than just pieces of jewelry; they are a physical representation of the students’ journey through high school. Each ring is unique, often personalized with the student’s name, graduation year, and symbols that hold special meaning to them and their class.
“I got the swirly ring from Herff Jones because I didn’t want my ring to look too junior ring-y because I wanted to be able to wear it after high school while still representing my high school experience. I’m really excited but I’m also sad because it means I’m growing up. I really like that it’s a simple ring. It has my name, my year, and the #13 because I do soccer,” Mia Alonso adds.
Each junior got their own customized ring, with options including birthstones, sports, designs, colors, and more. Some juniors decided to bring in their own rings.
Gabriela Gutierrez states, “I’m really excited to get my ring because it basically declares us as upperclassmen, and it means we are a step closer to being seniors and graduating. I’m also excited to share these memories with my friends and family. The ring is like a memory of high school. I got my name, birthstone, and class on mine.”
We congratulate the class of 2025 for all their achievements and for coming so far. This ring will forever represent their high school career and will serve as a representation of their interests and personalities during this time in their life.
