Falcons Crush Hialeah Trojans

Last week, the Falcons Football team stomped out Hialeah Miami Lakes with an impressive score of 26-0. This was very crucial not only for their playoff chances, but for senior players, as it was their last season game on Ferguson’s field.

The guys felt a wave of sadness hit them while processing this was their last regular season game, but they are anticipating to advance to playoff and leave their mark as District Champions.

“I’m sad, four years being done this fast sucks. I’ll make sure to come back to support the Falcons whenever.” Senior Corner, Emilio Cabrera, says.

The team managed to push these feelings aside and focused on giving it their all. The boys collaborated and worked diligently to conquer their opponents, which they managed to do easily. Although the Falcons did not play as well as they would have hoped, it was still enough for HML to call it a game and forfeit late in the second half.

“It really hasn’t hit me yet since we got a couple more games to go, but I will definitely be sad about it. I had a great time all four years of being on this field.” Senior Captain and Linebacker, Gabriel Cifuentes, shares.

The Falcons play Southwest on their Senior Night Friday at Tropical Park @ 7:30. We are excited to see how the season continues and hope for the best. Goodluck Falcons!
