Falcons Shut Out Gladiators 26-0
The Falcons soared past the Gladiators this past week in a 26-0 decisive victory to earn their first win of the season. The Falcons were led by a dominant ground game by Sophomore Manuel Rodriguez who had 3 rushing touchdowns. “I was just locked in and able to do my thing on the field,” shares Rodriguez.
The Falcon defense shut out the Gladiators offense led by Senior Javier Cifuentes and Junior Brandon Martinez.
“I am super proud of their performance against Gardens. They played physical football which really embodies our program,” said Coach Chew.
The Falcons look to build off their performance from week 1 when they play their now postponed game against the Coral Reef Barracudas this Saturday at 10:00 am.
It will be the home opener for the Falcons at the nest. Good luck to them and remember, Go Falcons!
