Farewell, Falcons!

Like every year, the 2018-2019 school year has been an eventful one both schoolwide and worldwide. Since the first day of school, there have been tragedies and victories, hardships and prosperities.

Our staff writers and editors have worked hard all year to update our readers on all school and current events, and we’ve been blessed to have such a talented group of writers to pass this program onto after we both graduate. It has been a pleasure working with all of you and getting to know you.

To our 2018-2019 staff, thank you for working diligently with us and ensuring that all deadlines were met consistently throughout this school year. Your efforts have been recognized and you have contributed positively to this program. We are confident that the journalism program will continue to prosper in the upcoming school year.

To the underclassmen, make the most out of the next few years (or year) and continue to work hard with your studies, you’ll see that these last couple of years will pass by quickly.  As for the graduating class of 2019, we wish you all the best in your future endeavors and remember: once a Falcon, always a Falcon. From showing off our senior crowns on our last first day of school to our collection of cords on graduation day, we’ve made memories together that will last a lifetime regardless of where life takes us.

On behalf of both of us, it has been an honor to serve as editors-in-chief for the past school year. Although it has been a challenge at times, it has also been an amazing experience that we will forever cherish and be grateful for. We are excited to watch this program grow in the hands of our new editors-in-chief: Sofia Bellon and Emily Rivera.

Thank you to our readers for all the support we have received throughout the year. This is a fully student-run newspaper so any support we see is appreciated. We’d also like to thank all the teachers, staff, administrators, and students that have been cooperative and contributed to our stories.

Until next year, Falcons!
