Girls Volleyball Scare Off The Bulldogs
On Tuesday, September 19th, the Falcon girls volleyball team conquered our biggest rivals, the Braddock bulldogs. The game ended with an unparalleled score of 3-0, scoring 25 points in each set.
“After our long tournament weekend playing three games and taking home wins, we really came out to kill it and go out strong.” Senior setter and fellow Captain, Mia Gonzalez, shares.
The Falcons enjoyed their long weekend at the Lake Howell Invitational Tournament, located in Orlando. They played three different games, having a notable win against the Seminoles.
The team worked diligently, combining their strengths and ability to work together in order to conquer the Bulldogs. However, the girls made sure to also have a good time while playing. “We really came out to have fun, no matter the score.” Senior libero, Kristyn Membreno, informs.
Even though the team knew Braddock’s weaknesses, they used them to their advantage to come out successful in the end. They brought together a hardworking team that really showed off their talents. We look forward to watching them succeed and have an amazing season!
