Subject Selection: All You Need to Know
Underclassmen bear a crucial responsibility in selecting courses for the upcoming school year. On February 20th, a video and a PowerPoint were presented to provide guidance on how to locate and complete the necessary form.
All students who will be advancing to the next grade level must complete their Subject Selection Form before March 1st. You can find the form on the Ferguson Website under the “Students” tab, then “Student Services,” and finally under “Articulation.” Alternatively, you may scan the QR code that corresponds to your school year.
It is important for students to fill out the appropriate JotForm for the grade they will be entering next year. Freshmen should complete,” Sophomores should fill out the “Grade 11 JotForm,” and Juniors should clear the “Grade 12 JotForm.”
Underclassmen will have the opportunity to select their electives, in addition to their mandatory classes. With the exception of some required courses, students are able to decide on their own which extracurricular classes to take. Ferguson offers a diverse range of electives, allowing students to choose a class that caters to their interests and needs.If students have difficulty selecting classes, it is highly recommended to speak with their current teachers regarding their elective and course choices for the following year.
Students must submit the form before March 1st. It’s crucial to be diligent in selecting subjects, as they could determine future opportunities.
