Upcoming Graduation Day for the Class of 2024

As the academic year comes to a close, the Watsco Center is preparing to host the graduation ceremony for the Ferguson Falcons on June 3rd. The Class of ’24 will receive the recognition they deserve, and both students and staff are eagerly anticipating the event.

Families, friends, faculty, and distinguished guests will gather to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the graduates at 7:00 p.m. This ceremony signifies the culmination of 4 years of dedication, hard work, and perseverance. From late-night study sessions to overcoming challenges, each graduate has a unique journey that has led them to this pivotal moment.

Many familiar faces will be at the graduation to usher and guide the graduates. Erica Fernandez, Dual Enrollment Teacher, Sports Coach, and Class of ’25 Sponsor, said, “As a graduation usher, we prepare to escort you all into one of the most memorable moments of your life. This honor gives us a chance to make sure you each shine. I can not wait to see you all walk into the arena and cross that stage.”

The ceremony marks the start of a new academic or professional journey for many. Regardless of their future paths, these graduates are ready to make a meaningful impact on the world. As they say goodbye to their alma mater, they carry with them the knowledge, skills, and values instilled during their time there.

From academic excellence to extracurricular achievements, these graduates have made a lasting impact on their alma mater. The graduation speakers have been chosen, and we congratulate Yamira Szameit and Ivette Fuste. Graduation speaker Yamira Szameit said, “The final year is probably one of the most exciting years in a school career. Graduating means a lot of joy but also a lot of tears. It means leaving school behind and starting something new, but it also means leaving your friends and fun moments behind. My year abroad here was full of highs and lows. I got to meet incredible people, but I also had to say goodbye to my family and Germany. In addition to everything that has happened during the year, as a foreign student, I am honored to give the graduation speech at our ceremony, which makes me extremely happy. I can say that I am proud of myself for having achieved all this.”

They are not just leaving behind a campus; they are stepping into a world full of opportunities and challenges. They are ready to embrace the challenges that lie ahead and to make their mark on the world. Congratulations to each and every graduate. Your future is bright, and the world awaits your greatness.
