Welcome Back Falcon Family!
After the unprecedented challenges of the last few school years, the 2022-2023 school year has finally begun.
The Talon newspaper staff wishes all the students at John A. Ferguson another year of accomplishment and success. This school year is the first step to overcoming the setbacks of the last couple of years and putting those struggles behind us, coming back stronger and more united than ever.
We are ready to take on this year’s news and deliver each topic with utmost credibility to provide our readers with an accessible array of information.
The work published on our site will cover a diverse range of topics, including insights into student life at the school, world news coverage, the latest entertainment updates, and the most recent sports events. Our editors look forward to displaying the talent that our writers possess.
As for our staff, our goal is to push our abilities and expand our range of topics as well to increase productivity to help the publication reach greater heights. We are beyond excited to get to work on being more productive than ever before and pushing far past our previous limits to create the best school newspaper possible.
The Talon newspaper staff wishes the students and faculty at Ferguson a memorable, successful, and fruitful school year.
The journalism program is always looking for more writers, photographers, and social media representatives. If any of these positions sound interesting to you, it’s not too late! Email us at fergusontalonnews@gmail.com for more information.
