Bowling Team Continue To Dominate the Alleys
In an amazing match against South Miami on October 3rd, the Girls Bowling team came home triumphantly with another win. The Falcons beat the Cobras, progressing in their 3-0 winning streak.
“It was a good game, and we had a lot of fun,” shares Junior, Karla Portillo. “We were all supporting each other. I played the first game and I think I did pretty good.”
As the girls continue to dominate the lanes, the Boys Bowling Team have been in the alleys. They have won all of their scheduled games so far, which totals up to ten! The guys have been working hard towards their goal of advancing to state competitions. With this winning streak, they’ll definitely get there and stand out.
“We work together as a team because there’s no “I” in the team,” says Frank Molina, junior. “We always strike first, we strike hard, and we are the last to strike.”
With overwhelming confidence in themselves and their skills, they mention how they have many good players capable of going to states. Clearly, Coach Del Romero has done an amazing job with her team, having both teams go undefeated.
“In bowling, it’s not how good you are, it’s how good you work together as a team and you’ll be able to accomplish championships,” said Coach Del Romero.
Fellow falcons are all wondering what the bowling team’s next move is after accumulating so many wins. We wish the best of luck to our Falcons!
