The State of Major League Baseball
The sports world is currently one giant enigma throughout the Covid-19 crisis. As for Major League Baseball, a shortened season is all but inevitable. The idea to move games down to Florida where all the spring training games are played has been introduced. It is a tough situation to deal with, especially having to go through the season without fans, the center piece of every sport. The MLB and the NBA are both in tough situations. If they do decide to carry out the season with no fans, they can easily make up the money lost through ad revenue by airing every game and spreading them out continuously. Sports fans are dying to watch new games so the games will continue to reach their audiences. Only the future holds the answers, hopefully sports is back on in the near future.
