What You Missed From Club Rush 2024

On Thursday, September 26, Ferguson buzzed with excitement as students gathered for Club Rush during both 1st and 2nd lunches. This annual event gave clubs the opportunity to showcase their activities and recruit new members. Tables were set up across the gym, featuring colorful posters, flyers, and enthusiastic club representatives ready to answer questions.

For many students, Club Rush provided a chance to discover extracurricular activities they might not have known about before. It not only helped students explore new interests but also encouraged greater involvement in the school community. Whether students were interested in sports, arts, academics, or service, there was something for everyone at this year’s event.

Clubs offer students a chance to connect with like-minded peers, develop leadership skills, and engage in projects that go beyond the classroom. Andrea Llerena shares, “I had a good time at Club Rush with my friends and saw all the clubs they offered. I need community service hours, so I decided to join Key Club, and I’m looking forward to it.”

Club members assisted new recruits in filling out their information and shared details about upcoming meetings. “Club Rush was really nice and interactive. I saw many clubs I wanted to join, and I decided to sign up for iDesign. I also liked the little goodies most of the clubs gave out. It was super nice,” remarked Kailyn Betran.

Genesis Arauz eagerly states, “Club Rush was a lot of fun. My friends and I did a little window shopping, and we signed up for Video Club.”
