Ferguson fright night
Halloween is an annual holiday celebrated each year on October 31 that has roots in the age-old European tradition. But it is also one of America’s favorite holidays, it is the day where you can let your spirit run free, be as creative as you want and not be afraid of anything. Ferguson’s fright night lets you do that, with activities such as pumpkin painting, horseback riding, candy fishing, face painting, and a petting zoo. One of the two most popular attractions where scary storytelling and the haunted house held in the theater room.
”Ferguson’s fright night is a great time to have fun and let go, it’s a special time of bondage you create with your friends and family and I’m glad I got to be a part of it,” Freshman Josh Lian said.
Being able to see characters come to life and imaginations flow is all thanks to the students and teachers who spent the night making sure the kids who attended had a good time. Sofia Piñero helped the French honors society by painting cool patterns on kids faces, and Enzo Trujillo who represented the law club played games with the kids and gave out candy.
“I think that fright night is very fun, kids get to come out have fun with friends and family but mainly they get to dress up and eat candy,” Enzo said.
Overall, the night was a success and the kids left happy with their bags of candy and excited for the actual holiday the next day.
