In 2020, the media has been buzzing with anticipated releases. From new music by Selena Gomez to a variety of Netflix debuts, consumers are scrambling to prepare for all the exciting content coming their way. 

As for now, these releases are some of the most anticipated:

Netflix:

Netflix is the main contender for upcoming shows and movies, with a release list of over 30 shows and movies. Here are the most thrilling (and anticipated)

January 15 : Grace and Frankie, Season 6

The Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin comedy series is set to continue on, and it will still be coming back for more! The series is set for one more after this.

January 17: Sex Education, Season 2

The son of a sex therapist who runs his own clinic is back for a heartwarming season two.

January 24: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Season 3

The satanic teen witch has returned for new adventures.

January 29: Omniscient (New series)

A thrilling sci-fi and dystopian series where everyone is vigorously monitored. It follows a woman that witnesses a murder through a surveillance camera, prompting her to investigate her own.

February 12: To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (New movie)

A sequel to the teen romance To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before where Lara Jean is in a relationship with Peter, the crush of the internet. She’s visited by another boy that received her old love letters.

Cursed (New series)

A new fantasy reimagining of King Arthur’s quest to track down Merlin’s sword where he meets a young sorceress (Katherine Langford) on his long journey.

The Kissing Booth 2 (New Movie)

The sequel to the teen romance The Kissing Booth, the new movie picks up exactly where it finished. Noah is heading off to college and he and Elle have to try and tackle long-distance.

Selena: The Series (New series)

A series biographing the rise of Selena Quintanilla, a legendary Tejano singer. The Walking Dead’s Christian Serratos will portray the star in the series, dropping Part 1 this year.

March 20: A Quiet Place: Part 2 (Horror)
