Top 5 Upcoming October Films
With October comes autumn, pumpkin spice, and spooky new movies and shows you want to consider watching. Here’s our top 5 must sees this October:
1. Venom: The Last Dance—Is the final film of the Venom trilogy we’ve all come to appreciate. Eddie and Venom are together one last time and are facing their toughest decision yet, concluding their storyline. The movie is a continuation of Venom: Let There Be Carnage and will be released on October 25th.
2. Joker: Folie à Deux—Follows the first movie with a now incarcerated Arthur Fleck wasting away in his cell until he chancily encounters Harley Quinn, played by the wondrous Lady Gaga. Their romance and drama are an infamous tale retold in this film, making it a definite can’t-miss if you’re an enjoyer of Joker and Harley Quinn’s wicked relationship. Set to release on October 4th, this film is bound to make you grin.
3. Abbott Elementary season 4—A new season of the Emmy Nominated comedy is set to premiere on October 9th and will continue to illustrate the wackiness that being an elementary school teacher brings; especially while balancing a romance with the hot new sub. Janine (Quinta Brunson) and Gregory (Tyler James Williams) kissed in the season 3 finale, revealing their obvious feelings for one another. So, how will their nosey students and coworkers react to their new romance?
4. Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft—One of the most incredible and well-known female game protagonists is making a name for herself in the animated genre with this upcoming series. The trailers reveal that Lara will be searching for a stolen artifact with great significance to her alone and without the safety of her friends. Though the show is a continuation of the original Tomb Raider trilogy, you do not need experience playing the games to understand and enjoy this gem.
5. Terrifier 3—It may be Halloween time, but Art the Clown is ruining Christmas for movie goers and residents of Miles County alike. The movie’s release date is October 11.
With so much to do this month, we hope you find time to enjoy these amazing upcoming films and shows.
