Latin Grammys 2025: A Night of Power, Passion, and Trailblazing Wins
The Latin Grammys were held on November 13th and honored some of the biggest Latin music inspirations over the past year. Artists like Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Alejandro Sanz accepted awards for their powerful music.
The ceremony was hosted by Maluma and Roselyn Sánchez, marking Maluma’s first-time hosting and Roselyn’s eighth. The past few years of the Latin Grammys have received some backlash from viewers; they often complained that the ceremony did not highlight the correct Latin artists. However, this year things seemed to have changed, and it seems they hit the target. Along with awards, the ceremony had their fair share of performances from Rauw Alejandro and Gloria Estefan but also some winners like Bad Bunny and Karol G.
The Latin Grammys were nothing short of exciting and influential, but there were also some controversial moments, like Karol G speaking out against the critics. “Forget about the world, forget about the noise. Prioritize love and passion over talent.’’ Showing that she is committed to her craft, and all that matters is that she believes in herself. This left some audience members upset, but to Karol, that did not matter.
