The Final Senior Speech

The end of the school year is fastly approaching and so is the Seniors’ Graduation speech. Any senior can submit a speech to be chosen as long as the student is cleared to graduate, has no suspensions, no attendance/ tardy issues, and no behavior issues.

The speech must be universal enough to apply to the entire graduating class so it can be selected. To participate in this event, seniors need to write a 2-3 minute speech talking about their life here in John A. Ferguson and what it means to be a Falcon.

The speech can include anything that you feel should be talked about. A few topics that can be included in the speech are the importance of setting goals, taking responsibility for yourself and your actions, what made your class special, any lessons from the past four years that you learned, and any messages you might have for fellow classmates.

It’s also a great way to show appreciation for the people who helped you get through the wild ride that is high school and talk about all the new and exciting opportunities that await in this new chapter that is approaching.

The speeches must be submitted by April 5 to either Ms. Graham in room 1013 or Ms. Rae Schulze in room 50.
