Lady Falcons Dominate The Field

Starting off the season strongly with a three-game winning streak, the Lady Falcons have garnered attention for their recent performances. They dominated their first games against Varela, Coral Park, and Braddock, obtaining impressive scores of 20-0, 32-0, and 19-0.

Despite their strong beginning, they lost their original momentum in recent games.

“I think our biggest issue is our confidence, with our own image and between teammates. Being confident sets the tone for the entire team as well as the games and practices.” Megan Bau, senior, states.

Nevertheless, the girls have continued to show their dedication and perseverance as they continue to play against competing teams. By improving their team’s chemistry and communication, they hope to get back on the field with a strong front.

“I think our team has a lot of potential so it can be frustrating when we don’t perform like we want to. However, we got it together and are performing well. It feels great to live up to our coaches and our own expectations,” implied by Emily Camejo, junior.

Improvements are being made left to right for the Lady Falcons. Camejo also shares that staying focus and keeping your head into the game is one of the biggest challenges for them.

Their next game is against the South-Dade on March 15th. Come support the team!
