The Annual Spring Guitar Concert Comes Again

Ferguson’s spring guitar concert took place in the auditorium, it had a successful ending after many different performance types were accomplished including having slow calm music along with upbeat music so the performance was very fun and interesting because of the many styles showcased at the concert.

One of the highlights of the concert was the guitar group performance as you could tell from the performances by the guitarists how much they had practiced together as their sound was very clean and neat. Aidan Almeida who plays guitar, stated that he had been nervous prior to getting on stage, however, once he got on stage everything just felt natural and all he needed to do was focus on the music.

One more part of the concert that was memorable was when Juan Zapata performed a vocal performance as this was something different for this concert than performing guitar therefore it brought in variety to the concert. Juan had a very emotional voice which made people in the audience listen intently. Juan says “ I was frightened prior to going on the stage, but hearing others clapping for me gave confidence in myself.”
